Great Tackle Football Players possess the following:
SPEED
Ability to perform quick movements or cover a given distance in the shortest amount of time.
SPEED ENDURANCE
Ability to sustain efforts at near maximum speed for as long as possible.
AEROBIC STAMINA
Ability to sustain dynamic effort over an extended period of time
MAXIMUM STRENGTH
Ability to create maximum force regardless of muscle length
SPEED STRENGTH (POWER)
Ability to contract a muscle against resistance as fast as possible
STRENGTH ENDURANCE
Ability to perform repeated muscle contractions at low resistance
FLEXIBILITY
Ability to increase range of motion around a joint
COORDINATION (AGILITY)
Ability to perform movements in the correct order and at the right time
BALANCE
Ability to achieve and maintain stability
