Coaching Association of Canada The CAC is a not-for-profit amateur sport organization with the mandate to improve the effectiveness of coaching across all levels of the sport system. In 1974, the Association launched the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Since its inception, CAC has developed into a world leader in coach training and certification. Each year, more than 50,000 coaches take an NCCP workshop and since it began, more than 900,000 coaches have participated in the program. |

Canadian Interuniversity Sport CIS is the national governing body of university sport in Canada. Fifty-one members, 10,000 student-athletes and 550 coaches vie for 19 national championships in 11 different sports. The CIS also provides high performance international opportunities for Canadian student-athletes at Winter and Summer Universiades, and 27 World University Championships.

International Federation of American Football The goals of IFAF, currently with 45 associations in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, are to be part of the international sporting community, the admission into the General Association of International Sports Federation, the acceptance by the IOC and participation in the World Games as well as the Olympic Games. |

Boys and Girls Club Boys and Girls Club of Canada is part of a global affiliation of Boys and Girls Clubs. The Club provides year round programs that are accessible and available to all children, ages 5-18. Activities encourage personal growth, learning, community involvement and healthy living. |

Aboriginal Sport Circle The ASC is Canada’s national voice for Aboriginal sport, which brings together the interests of First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples. Established in 1995, the Aboriginal Sport Circle was created through a national consensus-building process, in response to the need for more accessible and equitable sport and recreation opportunities for Aboriginal peoples. |

Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity CAAWS is an advocate for equity for girls and women in sport and physical activity, and promotes the values of equity, inclusiveness, fairness, and respect. CAAWS’ mission is to ensure that girls and women have access to a complete range of opportunities and choices and have equity as participants and leaders in sport and physical activity. |

Canadian Parks and Recreation Association The Canadian Parks and Recreation Association is a national voluntary-sector organization dedicated to realizing the full potential of parks and recreation services as a major contributor to community health and vibrancy. Our members are parks and recreation professionals represented in over 2,600 communities in Canada. We work closely with 13 provincial and territorial parks and recreation associations and collaborate with a host of other national organizations operating in the recreation, physical activity, environmental, facilities, sports, public health, crime prevention and social services arenas.
