All teams will play at least 5 games. Six of the eight teams will play 6 games. We will play a Championship Game, 3rd place game and 5th place game. There will be a draw at the Wednesday banquet to determine who is in each pool.

Provincial Championship

  1. No “all-star” teams are allowed to represent their province at the NFL Championship. An all-star team is designated as a group of individuals who are selected to participate on a provincial team through tryout or selection camp. The provincial representative team must be the winning team in the provincial tournament. 
  2. The provincial team roster must include four potential substitute player names when it is submitted. If a substitute is required for travel to the national tournament, approval must first be obtained from Football Canada and NFL Canada.
  3. Football Canada will follow up directly with each winning team in each province. All players must provide proof of age (birth certificate or health card or passport) immediately after Provincial Championships (these can be faxed to Football Canada).
  4. Flights and accommodations will be taken care of for 6 players and one coach (and a chaperone if necessary) during the tournament in PEI . A continental breakfast is included with the Hotel and 2 meals covered for participants at Nationals. Participants are responsible for their own lunch the day of the tournament, but a discount will be provided at the local Subway.

National Championship
 
  1. Date of the National Championship is July 2-4 in Cornwall, PEI .
  2. Players may be of any gender. The six-player team may be comprised of boys, girls or any mixture of both
  3. Six players and one coach are eligible to participate in the Championship
  4. NFL Flag rules will be played at Championship
  5. Football Canada reserves the right to disqualify any team/coach from the National Championship due to poor sportsmanship or other rule infractions.
  6. To be eligible for the NFL U-15 National Tournament, participants need to be born on or after January 1, 1994 and before December 31, 1996.

Please Note: Each provincial team is made up of 6 players, one coaches and a chaperone if necessary approved by NFL Canada and Football Canada. Any additional players or coaches can attend the championship game in PEI at the team’s expense and are ineligible to participate. During games of the tournament, only the 6 players and one coach of each provincial team approved by NFL Canada and Football Canada are allowed to be on the side lines. Additional players and coaches are spectators.
