ABORIGINAL FOOTBALL OUTREACH
Football Canada is dedicated to working with aboriginal communities through a number of outreach initiatives. Since the majority of aboriginal communities in Canada are located in remote regions, Football Canada provides a wide range of resources for community, player and coach development. Some include:
- Community-based programs (Gen7 Role Model Messenger)
- Sport specific/player development (JPD, 6-A-Side Tackle, Touch and Flag Football Camps)
- Coach and Officials training (NCCP and Work Placement Positions)
There are a number of organizations that partner with Football Canada, which include:
- Aboriginal Sport Circle
- Motivate Canada, Gen7, and Active Circle
