Maxime Bérubé

Maxime Bérubé is an accomplished student-athlete who capped off his fifth year with the Université Laval Rouge et Or by winning his 5th consecutive Dunsmore Cup (Quebec conference championship) and his 3rd national championship (2006, 2008 and 2010). During the 2010 Vanier Cup, Bérubé and the rest of the Rouge et Or defense held the Calgary Dinos to 140 yards. This Rouge et Or team captain and Master’s Marketing student is a three-time, first team all-conference and all-Canadian (2008, 2009, 2010). Bérubé participated in 66 university games during his five year career, helping the Rouge et Or win a remarkable 62 of those games.
Prior to attending Laval, Bérubé played CéGEP for the Collège François-Xavier (F-X) Garneau Élans. He excelled during his time with the Élans helping them win the Bol d’or (Quebec Championship) in 2002. He was also named a CéGEP AAA all-star in 2004. Maxime looks to add to his trophy case as he wears the maple leaf for Canada this summer at the IFAF World Championship in Austria.
